Abstract

This article analyzes the coverage of gender issues in Argentina by feminist news portals in 2024, during the first year of Javier Milei's government, who was elected president in 2023. Through empirical research, it seeks to discuss the practice of feminist journalism based on the experience of the independent portals LatFem and Marcha, by observing the themes, sources, and approaches present in their coverage. The work aims to contribute to the understanding of alternative journalism experiences in Latin America and to reflection on the potential of feminist portals to develop resistance journalism within a political context marked by conservatism.
